A fantastic conclusion to a project initiated by Paintsmiths Ballito who pledged their commitment to Ocean Awareness Month June 2019, and to the Ballito community in a collab with the Ballito UIP and Creative Painting & Floors to revamp the Willard’s Beach Lifesaving Tower using eco and environmentally friendly, easy breathing paints.The tower was in serious need of repairs as visible in the structure before pics.
The refurbished structure was handed over at a small gathering on 19th June, where guests were asked to sign a pledge to create awareness of the plight of our oceans.
Special thanks to all involved and in particular Snow Cogan and Hannelie Bossert from Ashgroves Takeaway who sponsored the snacks for the handover event as well as the KwaDukuza Municipality who provided technical support. A proudly Ballito community effort and a huge thanks to everyone involved.
