APPEAL FOR SUPPORT: The Dolphin Coast Residents and Ratepayers Association (DOCRRA) has been requested to assist with the organization of the upgrade of the Umhlali Police Station (internally and externally) and its surrounding environment. As part of its strategic plan, DOCRRA is wanting to play an active role in coordinating such efforts and in honour of Nelson Mandela Day on 18th July is looking for the following support:
- Volunteers to offer 67 minutes (and more) of their time and effort
- Business support for the supply of materials such as boards, tiles, paint, Paint, paint brushes, rollers
- Bins, log/wooden benches, equipment, signage, poles etc.
- Old tires, plant pots, plants, instant lawn, topsoil, compost, garden equipment etc.
- Small grader to level ground
- Skip for rubble removal
- Services such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, tilers, painters, gardeners etc.
Whilst they would prefer contributions in kind – including labour and materials, financial donations are also welcome and will be managed as a dedicated fund for this event in the DOCRRA accounts with a report back after the event. The PDF below provides detailed information on the request
