The BUIP greening team has completed a revamp of the park opposite the Ballito Junction Mall. Some of the tasks included weed removal, spraying, a general clean-up, grass scarifying, and top dressing application with more blue stones now installed. The trees in the park are pruned and aloes in front of the sign were moved. The park looks fresh and neat with all the efforts of late and will be rejuvenated. Landscaping is almost complete on Douglas Crowe Drive and final touches to the greenery are underway. All Palms are installed at Wakenshaw for an added element of welcomed greenery, with just one of them needing straightening. The Palms make for a wonderful first impression as you enter Ballito and are part of the Landscape Masterplan developed for the BUIP area, which is starting to come together nicely! Keep an eye out on your next time around town. Great job team!
