At Ballito UIP, we believe that every small effort adds up to make a big difference. Our Cleaning and Greening Team has been hard at work over the past two weeks, tackling a variety of tasks that keep our precinct looking neat, green, and well-maintained.
V-Drain Cleaning and Weed Control:
Continuing our work around the precinct, weβve focused on cleaning the V drains to ensure proper water drainage and reduce blockages. This, along with regular weed spraying, helps keep our green spaces healthy and tidy.
Daily Palm Fronds Removal:
A task that happens every day, the removal of palm fronds makes a noticeable impact on the cleanliness of the area. These small actions help maintain the pristine look that Ballito is known for.
Garden Planting on P445:
Our team has also been filling in gaps in gardens across the precinct, especially in the P445 area. These new plantings enhance the beauty of our urban spaces and add vibrant touches of greenery to the community.
Sign Cleaning and Grass Cutting Along the N2:
In addition to these tasks, the team has been diligently cleaning signposts around the precinct to improve visibility and enhance the overall appearance. Grass cutting around the N2 area has also been completed, further enhancing the look and accessibility of key entrance points into Ballito.
Bollard Repairs and Painting:
We are currently repairing and painting bollards at the end of Ozard and Emberton Way, adding the final touches to keep the area safe and looking fresh.
These initiatives, big and small, are part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the Ballito precinct at the highest standards. We are dedicated to keeping the area beautiful and functional for all who live in, work in, and visit our community.
