The Ballito UIP team is in full swing, preparing for the highly anticipated Ballito Pro, which runs from 25 June to 8 July, with the main event starting on 1 July. As we gear up for this exciting period, our focus is on ensuring that the Ballito precinct is pristine and welcoming for the influx of visitors and residents enjoying the school holidays and the pro’s vibrant atmosphere.
Recent Maintenance and Repairs
Our team has been hard at work with several key projects:
Paving Repairs on Stewarts Drive: We’ve completed vital repairs to the paving on Stewarts Drive, ensuring safe and smooth pathways for pedestrians.
Promenade Plank Repairs: Damaged planks along the Ballito Promenade have been meticulously repaired, enhancing both safety and aesthetics.
P445 Sweeping: Regular sweeping along P445 has been carried out to maintain cleanliness and a welcoming appearance.
Preparing for the Ballito Pro
In addition to our regular maintenance, we’re taking extra steps to ensure Ballito shines for the Ballito Pro:
Kerbing Painting: At the intersection of Ballito Drive and Compensation Beach Road, we’re painting the kerbing to improve both safety and visual appeal.
Ablution Facility Revamp: We’re revamping the ablution facilities on the Ballito Promenade, ensuring they are clean and functional for the influx of visitors.
