This past week, the Ballito UIP cleaning and greening team has been focused on ensuring the precinct remains neat, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors alike. Despite the recent rains, the team has made great progress in catching up on key tasks to keep Ballito looking its best.
Grass cutting and weeding
The team has been working hard to catch up on grass cutting and weeding across the precinct following the recent rain. These efforts are essential in maintaining the vibrant green spaces that Ballito is known for, and the area is already looking much improved.
Minor pothole repairs
Several minor potholes around the precinct have been repaired by the team this week, ensuring smoother and safer roads for motorists and pedestrians alike.
Palm frond removal and pruning
- Palm fronds removal: The daily removal of palm fronds continues to make a noticeable impact on the cleanliness and appearance of the precinct.
- Pruning of plants: Our team has also been trimming and pruning plants, helping maintain well-kept gardens and public spaces.
