New beach stairwell enhances safety and accessibility

The Ballito UIP is pleased to announce the successful replacement of the beach stairwell outside Hops. This essential infrastructure was recently damaged by storms and high seas, necessitating prompt action to ensure the safety and accessibility of our beachfront.

Last week, our dedicated team completed the replacement, reaffirming our commitment to maintaining a safe and well-kept precinct. The new stairwell is now sturdier and better equipped to handle the challenges posed by coastal weather conditions.

Thierry Leclezio, Precinct Manager, commented on the project: “The swift replacement of the damaged stairwell demonstrates our proactive approach to infrastructure maintenance. Ensuring the safety and convenience of our residents and visitors is always our top priority.”

This improvement not only enhances safety but also ensures that beachgoers can continue to enjoy seamless access to our beautiful shores. We appreciate the support and patience of the community during this project and look forward to continuing our efforts to keep Ballito a sought-after destination.
