The KwaDukuza Municipality (KDM) and Department of Transport (DoT) have continued to play a vital role in maintaining the Ballito precinct’s infrastructure, with a particular focus on road maintenance and public safety during October.
Following the recent rains, major potholes across the precinct were repaired, significantly improving driving conditions. KDM also replaced damaged road signage in key areas, ensuring better visibility and traffic flow.
Of the 9 municipal faults reported this month, 7 have already been resolved, demonstrating both teams’ responsiveness and commitment to keeping the precinct functioning efficiently.
The Ballito UIP extends its appreciation to KDM and the DoT for their ongoing efforts and collaboration in ensuring Ballito remains a safe, well-maintained environment for all who live in, work in, and visit the area.
