Despite the heavy weekend rainfalls, the impact for Ballito was limited to sand, stone, palm fronds and tree branches washed onto the promenade and Jack Powell Dr, with potholes also noted in Douglas Crowe and Ballito Drive. Both the UIP and the KwaDukuza Municipality are addressing these issues.
