Keeping Ballito beautiful: recent maintenance and beach clean-up efforts

Over the past two weeks, the Ballito UIP team has been hard at work maintaining and enhancing the precinct to ensure that the area remains clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors alike. Here’s a look at some of the key tasks we’ve completed:

Grass Cutting and Refuse Removal

Our team has been busy with regular grass cutting across the precinct, keeping green spaces neat and well-maintained. In addition, palm fronds and other refuse have been removed from around the area, ensuring that public spaces remain tidy and free of debris.

Paving Repairs on Platinum Park Verge

We’ve addressed paving repairs on the verge at Platinum Park, improving pedestrian safety and enhancing the look of the area. Maintaining smooth and safe pathways is a priority as we work to keep the precinct in top condition.

Weeding and Sweeping of Gardens

Our garden maintenance continues, with extensive weeding and sweeping to ensure that green spaces stay clean and inviting. These efforts keep our public areas vibrant and well-kept, contributing to the overall aesthetics of the precinct.

Minor Pothole Repairs

We’ve also completed several minor pothole repairs throughout the precinct. With the recent heavy rains, road conditions can deteriorate quickly, so addressing these issues promptly helps maintain road safety for motorists and pedestrians.

Beach Clean-Up After Heavy Rains

Due to the heavy rains this past month, a significant amount of debris and trees have washed up on the beaches. Our team has been working diligently to ensure that the beaches are clean and ready for the school holidays, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for beachgoers.

We remain committed to maintaining the high standards that the Ballito precinct is known for, ensuring that it remains a sought-after destination on the North Coast.
