The KwaDukuza Municipality (KDM) has been hard at work in Ballito over the past few weeks, carrying out essential maintenance that has already made a noticeable difference to the precinct. Their support plays an important role in ensuring that public spaces remain safe, functional and well cared for.
Fresh traffic line repainting
Road safety has been enhanced with the repainting of traffic lines across several high-use areas in the precinct. The refreshed markings have significantly improved visibility for both motorists and pedestrians.
Pothole and surface repairs
KDM teams also completed major pothole and surface repairs, addressing issues that had impacted both vehicle flow and road safety. The repairs have greatly improved the driving experience in key areas.
Sweeping and general upkeep
KDM has also supported sweeping and cleaning efforts across the precinct, complementing the daily work of the Ballito UIP Cleaning and Greening team.
