The Ballito UIP would like to acknowledge and thank KwaDukuza Municipality (KDM) for their continued support during the month of April. Their service delivery has contributed meaningfully to the upkeep and functionality of the precinct, particularly ahead of the busier winter season.
Grass cutting across the precinct
KDM’s Parks and Gardens team assisted with grass cutting in key areas across Ballito, helping to maintain visibility along roadsides and contributing to the neat and well-kept appearance of the precinct’s green spaces.
Traffic line repainting
To improve road safety and visibility, KDM completed repainting of traffic lines, ensuring that road markings remain clear and functional for both motorists and pedestrians.
Streetlight repairs
Functional streetlights are essential for maintaining a safe public environment. KDM carried out repairs to streetlights in targeted areas, improving visibility and helping to deter after-hours incidents.
Support along the promenade
KDM also assisted with maintenance work along the Ballito Promenade, a high-use public area that requires ongoing care to ensure it remains accessible and enjoyable for both locals and visitors.
