As part of the Ballito UIP’s Special Projects, Rauvolfia caffra trees commonly known as Quinine trees, were planted in the lower Ballito CBD this week. They already look great and will grow to become quite large trees. These additions create green lungs for the area and will moderate the local climate by providing shade. This type of tree is also popularly known for its medicinal benefits.
