Last Tuesday 9 November, Ballito UIP supervisor and security staff observed a suspicious-looking male walking along Compensation Beach Road. Upon further investigation, he was found in possession of a bolt cutter. The suspect’s information and images were then shared with the Greater Ballito Security Group, and it was established that he was a well-known house breaker, recently released on parole. He was handed over to SAPS for further investigation.
There has been a notable increase in housebreakings in the residential area of Ballito recently and this arrest is likely to positively impact crime in the Ballito area. Excellent work done by our team, and everyone involved.
