The UIP has begun with the long-awaited revamp of the Salmon Bay, Hawkins Rd and Willards Beach toilets. Apart from the male, female and handicapped signs to be installed, Salmon Bay toilets are completed, with the following work having been done:
- Painting inside and outside
- Toilet seats installed where required
- Toilets replaced where required
- Mirrors and tiling
- New doors
- Painting of door frames and rafters
- Treating of the entrance gates
- New lights outside
The UIP is now addressing the Hawkins Car park and Willards toilets, which will be further managed by the UIP locking that gates between 6pm and 6am.
