- 4,150 refuse bags collected
- 4,520 dog waste bags used
- 20 minor potholes repaired
High-Impact Upgrades Completed
April saw a series of focused improvements to public infrastructure and high-traffic areas, including:
- Hawkins & Salmon Bay ablutions being repainted;
- Tidal pool shelter revamped – including repainting and replacement of damaged wooden seating with durable brickwork;
- 6 planks replaced at the tidal pool;
- 2 beach access stairways repaired, improving safety and accessibility;
- Balustrade repairs completed at Emberton Way.
A Precinct in Tip-Top Shape
The Ballito UIP has focused on extensive vegetation cutbacks across the precinct, the seawater results have been consistently good, and the precinct continues to receive positive feedback. This is a direct result of sustained effort, strong collaboration and a proactive approach to precinct management.
