It helps the UIP measure performance, identify what is working well, and highlight areas that require attention &#8211; ensuring that precinct priorities are informed by real experience on the ground.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What is a Perception Survey?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A perception survey gathers feedback from a wide range of precinct users, including businesses, property owners, employees, residents, and visitors. It focuses on day-to-day experience across key areas such as safety, cleanliness, maintenance, and overall confidence in the precinct.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than measuring service delivery in isolation, the survey examines how those services are experienced and perceived by the people who use the precinct.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Why we run the survey annually<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Running the survey annually allows the Ballito UIP to track changes in perception over time, assess the impact of precinct initiatives, and respond early to emerging issues.<\/p>\n<p>The <span><a href=\"https:\/\/ballitouip.co.za\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/bsk-pdf-manager\/2025\/04\/Ballito-UIP-perception-survey-February-2025.pdf\"><strong>2025 Perception Survey<\/strong><\/a><\/span> reflected strong confidence in the precinct, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>95% of respondents indicated they would recommend Ballito to others<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>An <strong>overall experience rating of 8.2 out of 10<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Positive feedback around <strong>cleanliness, safety, and overall precinct experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Annual feedback strengthens accountability and supports informed decision-making for the year ahead.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How feedback is used<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Survey insights help guide:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operational focus across cleaning, greening, maintenance and safety<\/li>\n<li>Engagement with service providers and the municipality<\/li>\n<li>Longer-term planning within the precinct<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The results also allow the UIP to report back transparently on performance and priorities.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/ballitouip.co.za\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/bsk-pdf-manager\/2025\/04\/Ballito-UIP-perception-survey-February-2025.pdf\"><strong>View the 2025 Survey Results<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>TAKE PART IN THE 2026 PERCEPTION SURVEY<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The <span><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=7X0FpX0ht0-twSFmQ90wkjVp3wc7SvJDvJNEmnGUYH5UREVZVVM1SjVXTDhSTlZTOUlOT1cxTUhWNy4u\"><strong>2026 Ballito UIP Perception Survey<\/strong><\/a><\/span> is now open.
